Elyse Blazey Gentile brings 20 years of experience in providing corporate communications counsel to b-to-b and b-to-c clients. At ICR, she serves as a Vice President in the Real Estate, Financial & Professional Services team, where she works primarily on developing and managing strategic communications programs for ICR’s real estate clients.
Her experience extends to both agency and in-house, where she created corporate communications departments, managed global teams, counseled clients through crises and built customized communications plans for both internal and external audiences. In addition to her real estate expertise, Elyse has extensive knowledge across diverse verticals including legal, energy, fintech, lifestyle, spirits and toys, among others. Throughout her career, she has worked closely with senior executives and CEOs on thought leadership initiatives and executive commentary.
Elyse joined ICR from Daddi Brand Communications where she led strategic communications and branding programs. Prior to this Elyse held leadership roles at E*Trade Financial and at several law firms, Dentons, Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe and Stroock & Stroock & Lavan, where her responsibilities included global media outreach; internal and external communications strategy; key communications for the company’s senior leadership team; and managing the internal team and external PR agencies in the U.S. and abroad. Throughout her career, Elyse has advised brands such as Kantar, Sony Electronics, Popeye’s, Church’s Chicken, Green Seal, Alex Brands, Drambuie and others on their media strategies.
Elyse holds a B.S. in Public Relations from S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University.
