Investor Relations Vice President

ICR, one of the fastest-growing strategic communications firms in the world, is seeking an experienced capital markets professional to join its firm as a Vice President. The position is to work directly in the execution of client IR programs and the prospecting of new business. The position has meaningful opportunity for growth over time.

Responsibilities include:

· Provide direct support to team leader; work collaboratively with team members

· Assist in the prospecting and due diligence of new clients

· Assist with the creation and preparation of investor messages and supporting materials

· Help drive quarterly review and preparation process directly with client executives

· Attend industry events and conferences; prepare written market intelligence documents

· Create, update and maintain detailed financial models for all clients

· Develop and manage relationships with analysts and investors

· Monitor published research and other sources to identify important industry trends

· Track and report on client’s competitor business developments and financial results

· Maintain constant knowledge of investor sentiment and feedback for client base

· Develop and manage timeline for conferences, non-deal roadshows and other events

· Develop strong relationships with clients’ senior management teams

· Assist with business development initiatives

Job Requirements:

· Bachelor’s Degree in finance, economics or accounting required

· Minimum of 5 years of experience working in finance-related fields

· Strong financial and analytical experience required

· Strong understanding of the capital markets; working knowledge of financial modeling

· Excellent interpersonal and verbal / written communication

· Comfort interacting with senior level executives of public and private companies

· Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

· Experience working with FactSet and Bloomberg a plus

· Able to work independently and complete projects with limited supervision

· Proactive, highly motivated, flexible and team-oriented

· Ability to handle multiple projects concurrently

 

Compensation Range: $100,000 – $140,000
