ICR, one of the most highly-regarded Strategic Communications firms, is seeking a highly motivated professional to fill an Investor Relations Senior Associate position with its Asia group, covering multiple sectors; including Technology, Consumer and Healthcare.
Responsibilities of an IR Senior Associate include:
- Provide direct support to senior team members on Asia team
- Develop and manage strong relationships with clients’ senior management teams
- Track and report on our client’s competitor/peer business developments and financial results
- Prepare reports and analysis for client outlining investor feedback, financial results, stock price performance, changes to institutional shareholder base
- Assist with the creation and preparation of key messages and supporting investor presentation materials for senior management
- Interact with senior company executives to prepare for quarterly earnings calls, including drafting earnings releases, management Q&A preparation, and investor feedback
- Develop and manage relationships with current key analysts and institutional investors
- Develop and manage timeline for investor conferences, non-deal roadshows and other major events
- Develop client marketing materials, including corporate press releases, letters to shareholders, investor fact sheets, and IR website content
- Strong interest in working with Asia-based companies and ability to navigate the business culture there
Job Requirements:
- 2-3+ years of prior experience in financial communications or marketing role, equity research or finance
- Ability to work in a team environment and be extremely responsive to superiors and peers
- Fluency in Chinese and English; Excellent interpersonal and verbal skills
- Must be detail oriented and able to multi-task with efficiency
- Must have strong analytical skills
- Must have strong writing skills
- Strong interest in or understanding of the equity markets a plus
- Confident and professional phone and e-mail communication
- Ability to work independently and complete projects with limited supervision
- Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Finance preferred
