ICR, one of the most highly-regarded Strategic Communications firms, is seeking a highly motivated professional to fill an Investor Relations Associate position with its Real Estate group.
Responsibilities of an IR Associate include:
- Provide direct support for Senior Vice Presidents and Managing Directors
- Develop and manage strong relationships with clients’ senior management teams
- Track and report on our client’s competitor/peer business developments and financial results
- Prepare reports and analysis for client outlining investor feedback, financial results, stock price performance, changes to institutional shareholder base
- Assist with the creation and preparation of key messages and supporting investor presentation materials for senior management
- Develop and maintain quantitative tools to monitor client sell-side models, client and peer relative valuations
- Interact with senior company executives to prepare for quarterly earnings calls, including drafting earnings releases, management Q&A preparation, and investor feedback
- Develop and manage relationships with current key analysts and institutional investors
- Develop and manage timeline for investor conferences, non-deal roadshows and other major events
- Develop client marketing materials, including corporate press releases, letters to shareholders, investor fact sheets, and IR website content
- Clerical and administrative responsibilities, including but not limited to travel arrangements and organizing and maintaining file storage
Job Requirements:
- 1+ years of prior experience in sell-side or finance, banking preferred
- Ability to work in a team environment and be extremely responsive to superiors and peers
- Excellent interpersonal and verbal skills, sense of urgency
- Must be detail oriented and able to multi-task with efficiency
- Strong analytical and writing abilities are a must
- Strong understanding of the equity markets Confident and professional phone and e-mail communication
- Ability to work independently and complete projects with limited supervision
- Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Familiarity with Thomson, FactSet, CapitalIQ, Bloomberg and other capital markets databases is a must
- Bachelor’s– though actual “Wall Street” experience with a non-financial degree will be strongly considered
