Position Description

We are looking for a senior associate for our life sciences team in our Baltimore, MD office. A successful candidate will support senior team members working on client teams and will be expected to become familiar with the life sciences industry as well as client companies. The senior associate will help with the creation and editing of our clients’ investor relations materials including press releases, corporate presentations, and company descriptive materials. In addition, the analyst will help with the analysis and construction of investor relations and corporate strategies, including analyzing a company’s shareholder base, performing financial valuation analysis, constructing financial models, and creating client focused marketing materials. The senior associate will also be expected to aid setup and execution of client investor relations events, including conferences, earnings calls and analyst days.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree required.
  • Bachelors degree in a science background relevant to the biopharmaceuticals industry, i.e. Biology or Chemistry or alternatively a Bachelor degree in Finance, Economics with proficiency in science and financial aspects of the biopharmaceutical sector preferred.
  • Experience on Wall Street and/or in health care industry experience desirable.
  • Highly proficient with Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Strong writing and presentation skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities, as well as work collaboratively with senior partners in remote offices.
  • Excellent organizational and administrative skills.
