ICR, one of the most respected and fastest growing strategic communications firms, is looking for an SVP, growth strategist to join our new Growth Marketing practice, an innovative practice redefining the B2B GTM playbook. The Growth Marketing practice builds end-to-end growth strategies for high-growth technology companies to help them systematically create a repeatable, predictable revenue engine efficiently. We are looking for an executive leader who is a full-stack GTM and marketing executive interested in building something new.

You have extensive B2B high-growth marketing experience and a strong entrepreneurial spirit. You’re excited to advise a diverse set of clients to build modern revenue engines in-line with the way today’s B2B customers buy. You’re a great fit for the role if you’re looking to redefine the way B2B marketing is done.

The SVP will be integral to the development of this group from the ground up and will work closely with the Head of the Growth Marketing practice as well as the President of ICR to build out the business, the unique service offering, and the rockstar team.

The SVP Growth Strategist will be instrumental in the success and growth of the practice, including pitching and winning new business, overseeing/managing accounts and account teams, providing superior executive client counsel, and driving the team’s execution of plans and campaigns to exceed client expectations. This individual will be responsible for pursuing and securing a significant amount of new business activity. The ideal candidate is a real go-getter, highly proactive, and able to work independently while effectively managing teams and generating client confidence.


  • For ICR:
    • Lead, manage and grow existing and new business opportunities proactively
    • Independently drive new business prospects as well as partner with internal teams on cross-sell and upsell opportunities
    • Develop and evolve key service offerings, including the pricing and packaging, as well as the processes and playbooks to allow for scaling efficient execution
  • For clients:
    • Provide senior-level counsel to C-suite executives across a range of industries on overall GTM strategy and execution and oversee the development and growth of our clients’ revenue engines.
    • Provide strategic oversight of account management teams to ensure flawless execution
    • Be accountable for driving measurable revenue for clients.


  • Minimum of 15 years of GTM / Full-stack marketing experience.
  • Proven track-record of driving growth at B2B companies.
  • Deep understanding of B2B Marketing
  • Experience in mentoring and coaching a team in a fast-paced, evolving environment
  • Significant experience counseling C-suite executives
  • Savvy, smart, efficient, fast-working, results-oriented leader with good intuition for problem-solving and issues management
  • Ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial environment
  • Superior written communication skills
  • Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Track record developing and growing a business
