With over 20 years of restaurant industry-related experience, Fitzhugh has developed a broad industry perspective that comes from direct industry experience, sell-side analysis and financial communications consulting.  These varied vantage points have allowed him to successfully partner with leading restaurant companies to provide financial and strategic communications consulting and IPO support, as well as fully-outsourced investor relations services with clients in the upscale casual dining, traditional casual dining, fast-casual and limited service sectors.

Prior to joining ICR in 2012, Fitzhugh spent eleven years covering the restaurant sector as an equity research analyst. From 2001 to 2008 he co-led a top-five ranked team at Banc of America Securities and was involved in the underwriting of a number of successful restaurant growth companies. His career as an equity research analyst also included time at Thomas Weisel Partners and Robertson Stephens. Prior to his time on Wall Street, Fitzhugh was Director of Budgeting and Planning at RARE Hospitality.
