Kate Ottavio Kent joined ICR in 2014 and is currently a Vice President on the Consumer PR Team, where she works with leading restaurant and restaurant technology brands such as Wingstop, Fogo de Chão, Olo and Ziosk.
With nearly ten years of public relations experience, Kate is responsible for the development and execution of strategic communications programs for both public and private companies and specializes in the restaurant technology sector. She has expertise in securing top-tier media coverage, raising brand visibility, creating executive thought leadership platforms, implementing media strategy around corporate announcements, and protecting brand reputation through crisis situations. Kate has successfully secured media coverage for clients within top-tier financial, business, and trade press including The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, Bloomberg and CNBC.
Prior to joining ICR, Kate worked at boutique public relations firms where she represented a wide range of healthcare technology, real estate, food and nonprofit clients. Kate graduated with a bachelor of arts in Public Relations, Magna Cum Laude, from Quinnipiac University.
