Matt is a Managing Director in the Capital Markets Advisory practice of ICR. He has spent his career providing capital advisory and transaction services to both public and private companies across the lifecycle, primarily in the Technology sector. He carries an extensive background in capital planning, structuring, financial analysis, and cash flow modeling.
Prior to joining ICR, Matt served as General Partner at Wayfare Capital Partners where he extended his expertise in capital markets to advise young companies raising early-stage venture capital with the skill, discipline, and process formerly available to companies raising later-stage capital rounds. Prior to Wayfare, Matt led Corporate Banking business development for PNC’s California market, where he was responsible for advising large corporate clients on raising debt capital and providing them with financial services to manage cash flow and balance sheet risk. While at PNC, Matt built a portfolio of nearly $2 billion in corporate credit and played a key role in advancing the Bank’s technology corporate banking business. Matt began his career structuring and underwriting corporate securitizations in the Asset Backed Finance group at PNC.
Matt earned a B.S.B.A from the University of Pittsburgh, is a Chartered Financial Analyst, and is a member of the CFA Society of San Francisco.
