Based in San Francisco, Peter joined ICR as the head of the internet group with 11+ yrs of experience as a senior sell-side analyst covering internet, advertising and media companies. At Wells Fargo Securities, Peter led internet coverage of companies with a combined market cap of over $2 trillion, ranging from advertising-driven models (Google, Facebook, Twitter & Snap) to e-commerce (Amazon, eBay, Booking, Expedia, Tripadvisor, GrubHub & Angie’s Homeservices) to digital media (Spotify, Pandora) and dating (Match Group). Peter’s coverage at Wells also included top global advertising holding companies WPP, Omnicom, and Interpublic Group.
Prior to his 7+ years at Wells, Peter spent 3+ yrs covering media and advertising companies for Credit Suisse, where he was twice ranked by Institutional Investor’s All-American Research poll for his coverage of the advertising sector.
Before joining the sell side, Peter enjoyed a 15+ year career managing media expenditures in the advertising agency industry at Omnicom and Publicis agencies. As an advertising media/communications director, Peter provided strategic planning, execution, and stewardship services in the expenditure of billions of dollars of media investment across every major media type, ranging from broadcast television to print to internet. Key to these engagements was close coordination with client and agency public relations teams. Notable clients included GM, Sprint, Comcast, Hewlett Packard, Pepsico, eBay, and Netflix.
Peter graduated from Middlebury College with a degree in Economics.
