Sarah Montalto is a seasoned communications strategist, with extensive experience in leading dynamic and effective public relations, influencer engagement and marketing strategies, with a focus on retail and fashion industries. Sarah brings both an in-house and agency perspective. At ICR she works on strategic advisory and planning, brand initiatives, media relations, creative programming and is adept at crafting strategies that service both short and long-term client goals.
Before joining ICR, she was Senior Vice President at KWT Global x HL Group. Based in their Los Angeles office, she oversaw the LA team and a portfolio of business spanning both coasts. Prior, she held senior leadership positions at AZIONE and Linda Gaunt Communications.
With more than 15 years of experience, she has worked across many verticals from fashion, lifestyle, retail, DTC, fitness, travel, hospitality and beauty. Prior to her agency roles, she was the Director of Communications for the Trina Turk and Mr. Turk brands where she oversaw all public relations and marketing. She started her career working at BCBGMAXAZRIAGROUP, marketing their portfolio of brands: BCBG, Herve Leger, Max Azria and BCBGeneration.
