Edmond established ICR’s Asia PR practice in 2015 and has led the practice for more than nine years.
He provides client counsel to Asia-based public and private companies in tech, financial services, medical devices, AI, biopharma, electric vehicles, health tech, insure tech, IoT, mobility, restaurants, sustainability, and other industries. He has led communications programs on more than 25 successful cross-border transactions, including both IPOs and SPACs, which raised more than $14 billion in capital proceeds for clients.
Prior to joining ICR, Edmond was a financial journalist for two decades, beginning his career with the South China Morning Post in Hong Kong, and going on to spend 15 years with Bloomberg News that included two tours as a foreign correspondent in Beijing. He brings to clients a network of media contacts across Asia and North America, and deep insights into the operations of global tier-one business and financial media.
Edmond is a father of two who enjoys playing guitar, swimming and hiking.
