John Sorensen
Chief Operating Officer
John is a 15+ year veteran of ICR and is the Chief Operating Officer of the firm. He is responsible for overseeing Finance, Human Resources, Information Technology, and Legal. John brings the firm over 30 years of operational leadership experience, including guiding two companies through bankruptcy, overseeing numerous restructuring initiatives and business turnarounds, creating high-performing teams, and developing new processes and disciplines designed to increase shareholder value. He has worked in highly leveraged environments and has expertise in M&A, supply chain, working capital management, and capital raising.
John has a passion for live music, travel, the beach, his family and his Peloton.
