ICR Announces Appointment of Peter Stabler as Head of Internet IR Practice

New York, NY – December 18, 2018 – ICR, a leading strategic communications and advisory firm serving approximately 550 private and public company clients, today announced the appointment of sell-side veteran Peter Stabler as Head of the firm’s Internet investor relations practice.

Peter joins ICR following an 11-year career as a respected senior sell-side analyst within Wells Fargo and Credit Suisse.  Prior to his career on Wall Street, Peter developed deep sector expertise over a 15-year career in communications and media planning at Omnicom and other leading agencies. This deep industry knowledge drove Peter’s thoughtful approach to equity research, earning him the respect of his peers, and makes him ideally suited to advise clients on capital markets and investor issues. He will be based in ICR’s San Francisco office and will collaborate closely with the firm’s Technology and Consumer IR practice groups.

“We are excited to have Peter Stabler on board and leading our Internet effort within our Investor Relations and Capital Markets practices,” commented Tom Ryan, CEO of ICR. “Peter’s industry and Wall Street experience will make him very valuable to his company clients, and his positioning between our successful Retail/Ecommerce and Technology teams rounds out our service offering in today’s digital world. Peter will also be a great complement to our Consumer and Technology Public Relations teams as our fully-integrated and leading IR and PR offerings set us apart in the industry.”

The appointment of Peter builds on ICR’s ongoing strategic investments in its West Coast technology group, which has expanded significantly in recent months with the addition of senior IR and PR hires.
