ICR Launches Inaugural “Welcome to the Arena” Podcast

Podcast to Highlight Thought Leaders at the Intersection of Business, Finance and Communications

NEW YORK, August 13, 2021 – ICR, a global leader in strategic communications and advisory, today announced the launch of its new podcast, “Welcome to the Arena”, featuring interviews with CEOs, CFOs, financial analysts, members of the media, investment bankers, private equity executives and those who influence and create value for public and private-equity backed companies.  Hosted by Tom Ryan, Co-Founder & CEO of ICR, the podcast will make its official debut Wednesday, August 18th, with new content released every 2 weeks.

As a former Wall Street Journal ranked sell-side equity analyst and the co-founder of one of the largest strategic communications firms in the world, Tom has a unique perspective on what it takes to navigate this complex environment.   “In the increasingly crowded and competitive corporate and financial ecosystem, it’s harder than ever for companies to break through the clutter and be heard,” said Tom Ryan, Co-Founder and CEO of ICR. “We are thrilled to launch our new podcast and allow companies to proactively drive the conversation with stakeholders while listening to other thought leaders that can influence their businesses and build equity value.”

ICR has already welcomed 5 guests to kick off the podcast:

  • Nicole Miller Regan, Managing Director, Senior Research Analyst, Piper Sandler
  • Rob Sharp, former Private Equity professional Co-Founder Ramy Brook
  • Laird Bieger, Vice President, Portfolio Manager, Baron Capital
  • Bob McCooey, Global Head of Capital Markets, SVP, Nasdaq’s Listing Services
  • Don Duffy, President of ICR and transaction/SPAC specialist

The podcast will be accessible on Apple Podcast, Spotify, Google Podcasts, or anywhere else podcasts are available.
