Edward Ruff

With over 15 years of distinguished experience from premier Wall Street investment banks, Edward is a leading authority in capital markets and strategic transactions for public and private companies. His extensive expertise encompasses IPOs, follow-on offerings, M&A financing, private capital raises, PIPEs, cross-border listings, de-SPACs, and corporate separations, including carve-out IPOs and spin-offs.

Throughout his career, Edward has successfully executed more than 150 transactions, raising in excess of $100 billion in capital. His track record includes leading 40+ IPOs and 100+ follow-on offerings, predominantly serving as Lead Left or Active Bookrunner. While his transaction experience spans multiple industries, he has developed particular depth in industrials, industrial technology, natural resources, and energy transition sectors.

Before joining ICR, Edward held the position of Head of Equity Capital Markets at Cabrera Capital in Chicago and served as Managing Director in Equity Capital Markets at Citigroup in New York. He received his MBA from Vanderbilt University, and a Master’s in Accountancy, and B.S. in Accounting from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. As a FINRA-registered representative, he maintains Series 24, 7, 79, and 63 licenses and is a Certified Public Accountant.

Beyond his professional achievements, Edward is a dedicated father who values time with his family and pursues his passions for golf, hunting, and fishing in Wisconsin.
