ICR Asia Announces Robin Yang as Managing Director

SEASONED EXECUTIVE WITH 16 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE IN CAPITAL MARKETS, FINANCE AND COMMUNICATIONS

New York, NY and Beijing, China – July 19, 2017 – ICR, a leading strategic communications and advisory firm, today announced the appointment of capital markets veteran Robin Yang as Managing Director.  As a senior team member of ICR’s strategic advisory practice for Asia-based companies, Ms. Yang will lead investor relations efforts in the TMT and consumer sectors and support ICR’s growing service offering for integrated public relations and digital media programs.

Ms. Yang has 16 years of institutional capital markets, finance, and accounting experience. She began her career as a sell-side research analyst covering the US enterprise software sector. Subsequently, she worked as a multi-industry buy-side analyst covering investment opportunities in the Greater China region. Later in her career, she worked as a Chief Financial Officer for fast-growing technology companies in China and as a consultant advising Chinese companies on cross-border capital raising and mergers and acquisitions.

Ms. Yang is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), holds an MBA from the University of Arkansas and is certified by the Shanghai Stock Exchange as a board secretary. She is fluent in both Mandarin Chinese and English.
