Doug Donsky Joins ICR as a Managing Director, Financial Services

Kate Coyle Hired as Senior Vice President, Healthcare

New York, NY – (December 19, 2019) – ICR, a leading strategic communications and advisory firm, announced today that it has named Doug Donsky as Managing Director in the firm’s financial services division, and Kate Coyle as Senior Vice President in the firm’s healthcare public relations (PR) practice, which operates under the brand: Westwicke, an ICR Company.

Doug joins ICR from FTI Consulting, Inc. where he served as a Senior Managing Director in the strategic communications division for twelve years. There, he led financial services in the Americas, directing a team of 40+ corporate and financial communications professionals. Before that, Doug held senior roles in corporate and financial communications at Kreab Gavin Anderson and Edelman. He received his undergraduate degree from Haverford College and a master’s degree from Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism.

Kate joins the ICR team with more than 17 years of healthcare PR agency experience. Kate has led cross-functional teams managing integrated campaigns for leading healthcare clients, large-scale disease awareness programs, and extensive corporate, product and franchise public relations initiatives spanning every stage of the pharma and biotech product lifecycle. Prior to joining ICR, Kate was an Executive Vice President at Weber Shandwick and held positions of increasing responsibility during her years at W2O Group and Makovsky + Co. Kate received her undergraduate degree from the University of Pennsylvania.
