London, 14 November 2022, Consilium Strategic Communications, a global leader in strategic healthcare communications and investor relations, today hosts its 10th Annual Healthcare Conference: Learning from Tougher Times, Finding a Healthy Future. This year’s conference takes place in person in London and virtually and is co-sponsored by Citi, Cooley and Stifel.
“This year a series of shocks has impacted our industry, the market and the broader economy. As the industry adapts to these developments, it’s clear that the fundamentals of healthcare remain robust and the pace of innovation is accelerating. “Our conference is a great opportunity to gather the best expertise in the industry and to gain broader perspective on the most important issues that affect what we do. We look forward to an insightful and impassioned series of discussions on these important issues in the company of old and new friends.”
Amber Fennell
Partner and Co-Founder of Consilium Strategic Communications
“During Consilium’s first 10 years, we have expanded our expert team and capabilities significantly in service of our clients, increased our market share across Europe and the US and enjoyed creating a market-leading position as focused IR and strategic communications advisors to the broad healthcare sector. As always, I’m immensely proud of Consilium’s achievements, all made possible by each dedicated team member who contributes to the firm’s continued growth. I’d like to thank our team for organising what’s set to be another excellent conference today, and of course our speakers and sponsors, and look forward to seeing everyone.”
Mary Jane Elliott
Founder and Managing Partner of Consilium Strategic Communications
The half-day conference is free to attend and will feature three thought-provoking panel discussions with experts at the forefront of healthcare innovation, and a fireside chat.
Our first panel will explore whether ‘hot’ areas of investor focus are a help or hindrance to innovation for those who are at the coalface of clinical development and international investment. The second panel looks at the biggest challenges facing the broader healthcare ecosystem, against the backdrop of rising inflation, and seeks to assess which trends will shape the delivery of healthcare over the next decade. The third panel brings together people with experience of negotiating difficult funding environments to draw together learnings about how to ride the waves.
The event will conclude with a fireside chat in which Professor Justin Stebbing, professor of oncology and Editor of Oncogene, will discuss his thoughts on the next decade in healthcare with the Financial Times’s Global Pharmaceutical Correspondent, Hannah Kuchler.
For those unable to attend in person, the conference will be streamed online, supported by our webcast partner, LSE SparkLive. Registration enquiries for attending in person or online should be addressed to: admincsc@consilium-comms.com.
