London, 14 October 2020, Consilium Strategic Communications, a global leader in strategic healthcare communications and investor relations, is pleased to be supporting the UK BioIndustry Association (BIA) as its official media sponsor for the UK Bioscience Forum.
The UK Bioscience Forum is taking place on 14 and 15 of October 2020 as a virtual event, with the theme of emerging data technologies.
This event will include both how new technologies are addressing longstanding problems facing companies in the life science sector, as well as how to deal with challenges of diversity, interoperability and IP introduced by these new technologies, such as ensuring diverse datasets, tackling questions of IP, and ensuring interoperability with other systems.
There will be a keynote session with Tony Blair, former Prime Minister of Great Britain and Northern Ireland and a keynote speech by Professor Dame Ottoline Leyser, Chief Executive of UK Research and Innovation, which brings together the UK’s Research Councils, Innovate UK and Research England.
“The integration of data technology and life sciences is becoming ever more important in healthcare, driving innovation and changing what is possible in medical practice for the benefit of patients. We are very pleased to be supporting the BIA with the UK Bioscience Forum which brings together high-quality speakers from across the sector and from the technology field in what promises to be an important and engaging programme.”
