ICR Capital Hires Anna Shearer to Enhance Convertible and Equity Derivatives Advisory Practice

NEW YORK – July 22, 2021 – ICR, a leading strategic communications and advisory firm, announced today that its broker-dealer affiliate, ICR Capital, has hired Anna Shearer as Managing Director in its Convertible and Equity Derivatives Advisory team. Ms. Shearer will focus on capital markets advisory efforts related to convertible securities and equity derivatives and will report to Syed Raj Imteaz, Head of Convertible and Equity Derivatives Advisory.

Ms. Shearer has 14 years of experience advising, negotiating, and structuring various equity finance, equity derivative, and equity-linked product transactions. Most recently, she served as Senior Capital Markets Counsel at Wells Fargo, and prior to that, she was a Director and Counsel at Barclays. Ms. Shearer began her career at Shearman & Sterling LLP where she worked in both the Capital Markets and the Derivatives groups. She received her law degree from the University of Virginia School of Law and her undergraduate degree from Columbia University.
