ICR, a leading strategic communications and advisory firm, continued on a strong growth trajectory in the first quarter of 2015. In addition to kicking off the year by hosting the 17th Annual ICR XChange, the premier investment conference for consumer-oriented growth companies, ICR grew its client roster winning 20 accounts.

During the quarter we also focused on hiring the best team members possible with the overriding goal of delivering the best possible client experience across the entire spectrum of communications needs.”
Key new client wins in Q1 included: Party City; Ollie’s Bargain Outlet; Israel Chemicals Ltd.; Xerium Technologies, Inc.; Kornit Digital and Rennovia. ICR also supported numerous existing client communications needs around crisis issues, M&A, activist inquiries and other special situations, including communications counsel for the merger of Del Taco Holdings and Levy Acquisition Corp.
ICR welcomed distinguished industry experts to its Corporate Communications Group, including public affairs veteran Michael W. Robinson as managing director, and former journalist John Jannarone as senior vice president. The firm also grew several of its IR-focused verticals with senior hires. Marc Silverberg joined ICR’s Energy practice as senior vice president, having formerly served as a research analyst and director of MLP investments at Oppenheimer & Co. Dan Whalen, formerly a senior analyst with Topeka Capital, joined as senior vice president in ICR’s Industrials practice. Alexis Tessier, previously a research analyst at 300 North Capital, joined ICR’s Restaurants group as senior vice president.
