A unique, educational event for private companies on IPO process will be held on Feb. 26, 2016
Hosted by ICR, Latham & Watkins and Nasdaq
New York, NY – February 4, 2016 – Leading initial public offering (IPO) advisors from ICR, Latham & Watkins and Nasdaq today announced the launch of the 2016 IPO Bootcamp. The event is designed to assist private companies, their respective shareholders and financial sponsors in better understanding the process behind an initial public offering and provide best practices on how to effectively make the transition into life as a successful public company.
Although recent market turmoil has slowed the number of IPOs as of late, more than 600 overall companies have gone public in the last two years – with the pipeline of prospective companies with an IPO in their future considered robust and growing. The IPO Bootcamp will illuminate areas of focus on the road to going public for private companies and their key stakeholders, providing fundamental lessons to avoid pitfalls and strengthen strategy around the IPO process. The event will be comprised of a series of panels featuring experts and practitioners breaking down different stages of the pre- and post-IPO journey while discussing the overall transition to becoming a public company from broader perspectives.
The 2016 IPO Bootcamp is scheduled for Feb. 26, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. ET at Nasdaq Marketsite in Times Square.
