With over 20 years of experience, Alecia has extensive knowledge of all aspects of strategic financial and corporate communications, with expertise in media relations strategy and execution. As a partner in ICR’s Corporate Communications practice, Alecia co-heads the group’s retail, consumer, beauty and e-commerce vertical. She combines her knowledge of the media with traditional corporate communications to provide strategic counsel and guidance to clients on a range of relevant issues, in the context of the broader industry and capital markets.

Alecia has expertise in developing and implementing successful corporate communications and media relations programs, as well as thought leadership, brand launch and corporate branding and positioning campaigns for both public and private companies. She has advised leading lifestyle brands including ThirdLove, lululemon athletica, Forever 21, Capri Holdings, Torchy’s Tacos, TULA Skincare, BeachBody, Movado, e.l.f. beauty, among a range of others.

In addition, she has significant first-hand experience managing crisis and special communications situations including bankruptcies, retail store tragedies, discrimination, product recalls, natural disasters, CEO successions, among others. She most recently advised Forever 21 through their restructuring and bankruptcy proceedings.

Prior to joining ICR, Alecia held senior media relations positions with FTI Consulting (formerly Financial Dynamics) and Thomson Financial Consulting Group (merged into Huntsworth Group). She graduated from the University of Texas at Austin, and started her career at the Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs.
