
Anton Nicholas
Managing Partner
is President, Communications at ICR, where he drives the firm’s go-to-market strategy and oversees multiple practices and functions, including Technology, ECI, Healthcare, REFLS, Asia and Consumer, as well as the firm’s Growth Office and Events teams. In this role, he plays a central part in shaping firmwide strategy, fostering cross-practice collaboration, and ensuring integrated, client-focused solutions across the organization.
With more than 25 years of experience in corporate, crisis, and consumer communications, Mr. Nicholas has built a reputation as a trusted advisor to executives navigating complex reputational challenges. He brings deep cross-sector expertise and is frequently called upon to lead high-stakes, multi-stakeholder mandates spanning industries, geographies, and disciplines. He partners closely with client teams to help organizations define, protect, and amplify their reputation in a rapidly evolving global landscape.
Before joining ICR, Mr. Nicholas was Managing Director and Partner at Sloane & Company, where he spearheaded major corporate communications and crisis programs, including litigation support, cross-border M&A, and other special situations. Earlier in his career, he served as CEO of Financial Dynamics International’s (now FTI Consulting) North American business, overseeing offices in New York, Boston, and San Francisco. He began his career at Sard Verbinnen & Co.
Mr. Nicholas holds an M.A. from Brown University and a B.A. from the University of Richmond.
