Doug Donsky

Managing Director

A former journalist who began his career on Wall Street, Doug Donsky brings more than 20 years of experience advising financial sponsors and public companies on media and investor relations, as well as mergers, IPOs, crisis and other special situations. He has extensive experience working with global asset managers and private capital funds, including private equity, venture capital, infrastructure, real estate and private debt.  Select client experience includes advising partners and executives at Apollo, Barings, Global Infrastructure Partners, Kennedy Wilson, Legg Mason, Liberty Hall Capital Partners, Morningstar Funds Trust, PineBridge Investments, Raymond James, Resource Capital Funds, Silverpeak Real Estate Partners, and ZAIS Group.

Doug joined ICR in 2019.  He previously led financial services in the Americas’ for FTI Consulting’s strategic communications segment.  Doug has won numerous industry awards in corporate reputation and strategic communications, including PR Week’s prestigious “Campaign of the Year” (CIT Group).  He earlier worked as a financial journalist at American Banker in Washington D.C. and Commercial Property News in New York.  He began his career at Lehman Brothers.  Doug holds a B.A. in English from Haverford College and M.S.J. from the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University.
