Iain Franks

Iain brings 20+ years of unique experience to ICR Capital’s Convertible & Equity Derivatives Advisory team where he focuses on advising boards and management teams on structuring and executing convertible and equity-linked financing transactions, hedging strategies and convertible liability management transactions. 

Iain’s prior experience has led him to sit on both sides of the table, working as both an issuer in the global treasury team at Lucid Motors and as a banker where he has advised on more than 150 financing transactions raising $50bn+ of capital. 

As an advisor, Iain is committed to always prioritizing our client’s unique needs and priorities when engaging with the convertible and equity derivatives capital markets. His extensive transaction and market expertise allows him to support clients in executing their most critical capital-raising initiatives. 

Previously, Iain headed convertible capital markets franchises at TD Cowen and JMP Securities where he originated, structured and executed transactions across multiple geographies and sectors.

Outside of work, Iain enjoys spending time traveling with his wife and two children.
