
Marc Silverberg
Managing Partner
With more than 20 years of experience in energy capital markets, Marc Silverberg is Managing Partner and Global Head of Energy, Clean Tech and Industrials. At ICR, he has spent more than a decade advising leading companies across the energy and industrial landscape, bringing a perspective shaped by his work as a sell-side analyst, institutional investor, and now corporate advisor. Over his career, he has been involved in nearly 50 go-public transactions and has extensive experience guiding public and private companies through M&A, IPOs, and other complex strategic events. He also leads AI strategy at ICR, overseeing firmwide initiatives to identify and implement high-value applications of AI for both ICR and its clients.
His team works with clients spanning energy and resources, advanced manufacturing, and next-generation energy technologies — from traditional and renewable power to critical minerals, extractive resources, energy storage, and carbon solutions. Their work also includes leaders in mobility, aerospace, automation, and AI-driven industrial innovation. Together, these companies operate at the intersection of energy, sustainability, and technology, redefining how the world powers, builds, and moves.
Before joining ICR, Marc served as Director of Investments at Oppenheimer, where he co-managed an energy investment portfolio. Earlier, he spent over eight years with Barclays and Lehman Brothers, rising to Vice President on the energy equity research team, which was consistently ranked in the All-America Institutional Investor survey. Marc began his career as a Consultant at Deloitte and holds a double major in Finance and Management Information Systems from Binghamton University.
Outside of work, Marc is an avid golfer and enjoys spending time with his wife Sarah and their two young daughters, Maya and Emma.
