Marc Silverberg

Managing Partner

Marc is Managing Partner and head of ICR’s Energy, Sustainability & Modern Mobility (ESM) investor relations practice.

He joined ICR in 2015, and has nearly 20 years of experience in the capital markets industry. Throughout his career, Marc has partnered closely with senior-level executives as a sell-side analyst, investor, and now corporate advisor. Marc has extensive experience in crafting investor relations strategies for companies of all sizes across the energy, sustainability and mobility sectors, including advising clients through the current energy transition. He has been involved in more than a dozen initial public offerings, and has significant experience advising communications strategies for public and private companies across mergers, acquisitions and other major transactions, including Special Purchase Acquisition Companies (SPACs).

Marc’s team specializes in working with companies across a range of focus areas in the ESM ecosystem, including electric vehicles, EV charging, battery technology, micro-mobility, energy storage, solar, power generation, renewable natural gas, hydrogen distribution and transportation, traditional aviation and space exploration.

Prior to joining ICR, Marc served as a Director of Investments at Oppenheimer, where he co-managed an energy investment portfolio. Prior to that, Marc spent more than eight years with Barclays and Lehman Brothers, most recently as Vice President on the energy equity research team, which consistently ranked top three on the All-America Institutional Investor survey. Marc began his career as a Consultant at Deloitte, where he focused on the financial services industry and was involved in the largest-ever investment management merger. He graduated Cum Laude with a double concentration in Finance and Management Information Systems from the School of Management at Binghamton University.
