Chuck has more than 25 years of experience helping private investment firms and companies with a range of strategic communications initiatives, including profile-raising campaigns, stakeholder engagement programs, transactions, executive transitions, crisis management, IPOs, litigation support, and restructurings. He has primarily worked with private equity firms and their portfolio companies to optimize their investment and value-creation strategies through strategic communications. 

He collaborates with executive and communications teams to develop and implement highly effective communications programs for a range of stakeholders. His private equity clients have included Advent International, Clayton Dubilier & Rice, Cressey & Company, JMI Equity, Juggernaut Capital Partners, and Madison Dearborn Partners. Additionally, Chuck has provided strategic communications counsel and services to companies across multiple industries. He also helped the City of Detroit through its Chapter 9 bankruptcy proceeding. 

Prior to joining ICR, Chuck most recently was a Managing Director and member of the leadership team at H/Advisors Abernathy. He began his professional career at Edelman and has worked at private equity focused communications advisory firm Broadgate Consultants and Nasdaq-listed Knight Capital Group (now part of Virtu Financial).​ Chuck is a graduate of the College of the Holy Cross.
