Joan has extensive experience advising companies and individuals on complex situations and high-profile matters before federal and state courts around the country, providing crisis communications and litigation support. For more than 11 years, Joan led communications and external affairs for the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office. She also ran a national organization of 50 leading prosecutors united against gun violence. A former journalist, Joan has executed over 200 news conferences over her career.
