John leads ICR’s Crypto, Digital Asset, and Blockchain Technology practice, advising public and private companies on investor relations, strategic communications, and capital markets positioning. He works closely with management teams to develop clear, credible, and investor-grade narratives, supporting earnings communications, investor targeting, transaction readiness, and ongoing engagement with institutional investors across rapidly evolving technology and energy-adjacent markets.
John has advised companies across the crypto and blockchain ecosystem, including institutional staking platforms, digital asset infrastructure providers, crypto mining firms, tokenization initiatives, payments companies, and asset managers. His work frequently supports high-stakes moments such as IPOs, uplistings, SPAC and RTO transactions, large capital raises, balance-sheet strategy shifts, and periods of elevated market or regulatory scrutiny.
John brings nearly 25 years of professional experience, including senior equity research roles at major investment banks. He was a Director at RBC Capital Markets on an Institutional Investor-ranked team covering more than 80 energy infrastructure companies. John holds a B.S. from the University of Colorado Boulder and is a CFA charter-holder.
