John Ragozzino Jr., CFA

John is a Senior Vice President in ICR’s Energy, Sustainability, and Modern Mobility Investor Relations practice. He focuses on partnering with companies across the Renewable Energy, Carbon Capture, and Blockchain Technology value chains at various stages of their lifecycle. John excels in developing clear and strategic communications strategies to deliver thoughtful, actionable messaging for his clients. Leveraging his extensive Capital Markets experience, John effectively addresses complex issues and events a company may face, ensuring that stakeholders receive transparent and compelling investment theses that build value.  

John joined ICR in 2021, and brings 22 years of Capital Markets experience, particularly in sell-side research covering a wide range of different energy companies, to the ESM team. His extensive experience includes numerous go-public transactions and M&A activities across the broader energy value chain. His unique combination of in-depth fundamental research and hands-on transactional expertise has equipped John with the knowledge to develop strategic communications strategies focused on value creation well-suited to fit his clients most complex situations.

Prior to joining ICR, John was a Managing Director of Investor Relations with an independent strategic communications consultancy.   Before beginning his career in Investor Relations, John held a variety of research analyst roles at major investment banks  including Director at RBC Capital Markets, where he was one of three senior analysts on an Institutional Investor ranked equity research team that followed more than 80 companies across the Energy infrastructure sector.  John received his B.S. in Finance & Accounting from the University of Colorado at Boulder and is a CFA charter-holder.
