Kate has over two decades of communications and marketing expertise working across the healthcare ecosystem from early-stage innovators to the world’s largest biopharmaceutical companies. Her expertise spans pharma, life sciences and biotech landscape and numerous therapeutic categories as she works to implement corporate and product communications that help clients achieve their business objectives. 

At ICR Healthcare, Kate has helped start-ups launch promising innovations, supported corporate leadership initiatives, executed integrated investor and public relations programs, managed FDA-approval actions, prepared for and managed issues, and designed successful clinical trial recruitment campaigns.

Kate applies data-driven market insights and broad category experience to help companies stand out from the crowd with messaging and programs geared to make an impact. She works with her team to execute with precision, efficiency and authenticity. 

Committed to quality of client service, her strategic counsel and partnership approach has allowed her to work with clients such as Pfizer, Regeneron, Incyte, Sanofi, Alexion, Agilent and EMD Serono. Passionate about advocacy and third-party impact, she assisted third-party organizations such as the National Kidney Foundation and the Scleroderma Foundation and also served on the New York City Regional Board of Directors for the American Heart Association and founded the Young Professionals of the American Heart Association.

Prior to joining ICR, Kate served as an EVP at Weber Shandwick, as a Group Director at W2O Group and as a Group Vice President at Makovsky + Co. Kate graduated with honors earning her B.A. in Communications from the University of Pennsylvania where she studied healthcare communications at the Annenberg School of Communications.

Kate loves exploring the world with her husband and three children, serves as a local Little League commissioner and youth softball coach, and loves creative outlets, especially those involving cooking or elaborate baking confections.
