Matt Dallas

Managing Director

Matt is a former business reporter and PR specialist with more than 20 years of experience raising the profiles of energy companies. Using his “reporter hat,” Matt works closely with management teams to find the interesting and engaging story angles that garner positive coverage and “big win” pieces for his clients. With a track record of managing strategic communications programs, Matt has extensive experience building CEOs into recognized industry thought leaders.

Throughout his career, Matt has worked with more than 100 companies, helping each to build a positive profile and stronger brand awareness in the national and financial media and key trade press. He has expertise working with companies going public (IPOs and SPACs), and in special situations, including M&A, financings, crisis situations, and product launches.

Before joining ICR, Matt founded and ran a private practice, managing communications programs for public and private companies. Prior to that, he served as the Director of Communications at Babcock & Brown. Earlier, he was a Vice President at FTI Consulting group. Matt started his career as a reporter with Bloomberg, ABC News, and MarketWatch.

· Matt holds a Master’s in Business and Economic Reporting from New York University’s Stern School of Business, as well as a Bachelor’s degree from New York University.
