Michael W. Robinson

Michael leads ICR’s Washington team and draws on four decades as a trusted public affairs, crisis communications, government affairs, and corporate reputation counselor to public and private companies, senior executives, and boards of directors.

He has worked inside of government – including at The White House, SEC, and Justice Department – as a partner in leading public affairs and crisis communications firms – and as a senior executive at several Fortune 100 companies. An award-winning former journalist, Michael has also been honored as Public Affairs Executive of the Year and for his work as a crisis communicator.

He drives and executes integrated initiatives that enable clients to achieve their immediate and long-term business and public policy goals – and successfully engage their stakeholders Inside the Beltway and in the court of public opinion. Michael helps domestic and international clients alike shape their strategy, build and guard their reputation, advance their narrative, construct alliances, advocate on their behalf, and grow their bottom line.

In his spare time, he’s an avid swimmer, movie buff, and Goldendoodle dog walker.
