With over two decades of media and marketing experience, Michael helps lead corporate communications and public relations efforts for a wide spectrum of consumer and retail clients and categories. He has successfully developed and executed communications plans to bring multiple companies to the public markets (through both IPO and SPAC transactions) and has helped clients navigate complex issues through effective crisis communications efforts. Priot to joining ICR, his media relations skills were built over his time managing category-leading teams at leading consumer media brands, including GQ, Men’s Journal, The Week, Best Life, Rolling Stone, O, The Oprah Magazine and more.
Michael understands the power of storytelling in communications and is expert at writing marketing positioning that breaks through the clutter to build positive brand sentiment. Whether through byline writing, messaging development or internal/external communications, Michael has leveraged his experience and creative expertise for clients such as Westrock Coffee, Pinstripes, The Beachbody Company, Sovos, Meatable, Caliber, and many more.
Michael is a cultural fanatic, and in his spare time is the co-host of a music nostalgia podcast. He enjoys time outdoors in Connecticut with his wife and enormous dog, and is always game to catch dinner and a movie with friends.
