Sukanti Ghosh

Sukanti Ghosh is a Partner at ICR, leading the firm’s international strategy and markets expansion with a priority focus on Europe, the Middle East, India, and Africa. In this role, he drives new international client engagements and is responsible for establishing a network of senior advisors to enhance the firm’s reputation in target markets. Sukanti also serves as a strategic advisor to ICR’s U.S. and UK-based leadership.
With more than 30 years living and working across the UK, US, India, and Middle East, Sukanti brings deep cross-border expertise driving tangible business outcomes. He advises C-suite executives on high-stakes corporate transactions, capital markets communications, IPO strategy, and international expansion across infrastructure, mining, technology, and financial services. Most recently at Vedanta Resources Limited, his integrated global communications strategy delivered a 73% share price increase in 2024, demonstrating direct ROI of strategic communications investment.
Before joining ICR, Sukanti held senior leadership roles at Albright Stonebridge Group and APCO Worldwide in consulting, advising Fortune 500 companies and sovereign wealth funds on capital markets and strategic communications. On the client side, he held communications leadership positions at Barclays and BankMuscat, building functions across multiple geographies.
Sukanti holds an Executive MSc in Communications Management (summa cum laude) from the University of Lugano, Switzerland, an Executive Certificate in Advanced Strategic Management from UCLA Anderson School of Management, USA, and a Professional Certificate in Executive Coaching from Henley Business School, UK. He is a member of the Arthur W. Page Society.
In his free time, Sukanti loves travelling, music and landscape and nature photography. When he is not working, he is often discussing the state of the world with his daughter Sanjana or walking with his much-travelled English Cocker Spaniel, Lily.
