Zach Gorin

Managing Director

Zach is a strategic communications specialist with more than fifteen years experience working with clients to manage reputation as a strategic asset. He advises public and private companies across the energy and industrials sectors on financial transactions, media relations, executive positioning, and thought leadership to enhance corporate awareness and improve favorability among institutional and retail investors.

He regularly counsels clients across go-public transactions (IPOs and SPACs), fundraising rounds, enterprise and product launches, M&A, asset sales and spin-offs, crisis situations, legal and regulatory issues. He specializes in in identifying which reputation drivers represent clients’ greatest bottom-line impact and building holistic strategies around them to engage a range of stakeholder groups – from investors and customers to policymakers, regulators, and employees.

Prior to joining ICR, Zach led global strategy and operations for the Chairman of Corporate Reputation at Edelman, the world’s largest independent PR firm, and held senior corporate communications advisory roles at Ruder Finn and SKDK. He began his career in politics and served as the founding Communications Director for Senate Majority PAC, the Washington-based Super PAC. Zach graduated with a BA in Political Science from Bates College.
