ICR President Don Duffy Sheds Light on Confidential Filings

The JOBS Act has provided an opportunity for small companies to submit initial IPO documents confidentially, allowing companies to keep their IPO plans and competitive information under wraps until they are ready to engage with potential investors. Dow Jones Newswires’ “IPO Insights” column called on ICR’s Don Duffy to provide his take on the changing landscape of IPO filings. Don explained that confidential filings allow companies to have their filings ready to go when market conditions are right, without worrying about the negative consequences of filing and then not making it to market.
