With over 20 years of experience in media relations, Sean is known for his strategic thinking, hands-on approach, relationship building and ability to deploy the full range of PR tools including best social media practices. He has worked on: oncology, cardiology, obesity, auto-immune diseases, women’s health, orphan drugs, generics, vaccines, pain management, and infectious disease. He has an extensive background in U.S. healthcare policy and experience with regulatory agencies including the U.S. FDA.
Sean has directed pharmaceutical, biotech and medical device launches, conducted media tours and worked numerous media relations campaigns at professional medical and scientific conferences. He has written scripts for U.S. Congressional inquiries, directed multiple crisis communications programs including: negative data, product recalls, SEC investigations, activist shareholder actions, a pharmaceutical plant explosion, management changes and resignations and served as an on-record spokesperson for several small and micro-cap companies.
Sean has held senior positions at Financial Dynamics (now FTI Consulting), Hill & Knowlton, and Burson Marstellar. He served as Chief Communications Officer at PCG Advisory Group and Managing Director of Public Relations and Corporate Communications at TraDigitalIR. Earlier in his career he worked at Lippert/Heilshorn and Porter, LeVay & Rose.
Sean is a Trustee of the SUNY Potsdam Foundation Board.
